Join us for Superhero Day 2023!

Not all heroes wear capes, but on April 28, the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation and UPMC in Central Pa. will come together to celebrate UPMC Children's Harrisburg during Superhero Day!
Our way of recognizing the world-class facility at UPMC Children's Harrisburg, Superhero Day gives staff and patients throughout UPMC in Central Pa. the opportunity to give, get, or donate a cape to a patient that is waking up in the hospital or being seen at one of our offsite locations on Superhero Day. From our strong patients facing illnesses and injuries, and passionate parent advocates, to our compassionate staff and world-class innovators, we are excited to honor all our superheroes.
Whether you choose to give a cape, get a cape, or make a donation of any amount, your contribution is making a difference for pediatric patients in need. By supporting Superhero Day, you will be supporting the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation Brooks Schiffman Pediatric Fund, a fund that provides invaluable resources to UPMC in Central Pa. pediatric patients who require special care, treatments, therapeutic equipment, transportation, and medical bills. When you make a donation, you are allowing the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation to provide a child in the hospital with a cape.
So consider getting a cape for yourself, your patients, colleagues, friends, and family!
Wear your cape at work on Friday, April 28, in honor of our UPMC Children’s Harrisburg heroes!
Cape sales end on April 14, 2023.
I Want To Be Involved!
