Early detection is crucial in the fight against cancer. 261 patients in need received vouchers for free mammograms through the Mammogram Voucher Program
The first graduating class of 42 students of the UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing at UPMC Harrisburg received their diplomas in December 2023
2,674 home visits were provided by the Community Paramedicine team, reducing risk for patients with high-risk diagnoses or comorbidities
The Helping Hands Fund provided transportation free of charge to 2,692 patients who couldn’t otherwise make it to their appointments
Translation services were provided to 195 children and their families receiving care at the UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central Pa., ensuring that these children are able to share their experience in their own words.
