UPMC Children’s in Harrisburg launches child-friendly technology
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — UPMC Children’s in Harrisburg has unveiled its newest piece of technology, designed to help children prepare for critical MRI scans. According to UPMC, the new MRI simulator and cinema system is a child-friendly system that aims to transform what can be an intimidating and stressful experience into a calming one by projecting visuals.

UPMC Empowering Wellness through Women’s Cancer Survivorship Conference
UPMC Magee-Womens and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Central Pa. with the support of UPMC Pinnacle Foundation, hosted the Women’s Cancer Survivorship Conference on March 29 at the Penn Harris Hotel Convention Center. Dedicated to empowering women living with cancer, the comprehensive one-day event focused on wellness and was attended by more than 150 participants.
