UPMC Pinnacle Foundation Funding
The UPMC Pinnacle Foundation provides two types of funding: Internal Hospital Entities and Community Mini Grants. The Internal Hospital Entities funding supports projects within UPMC Central Pa hospitals, focusing on patient care, improving hospital facilities, and advancing medical research. It also aids local non-profit partners whose initiatives align with hospital needs. Community Mini Grants support local organizations promoting health and wellness programs outside the hospital, fostering community engagement and addressing public health issues.
Both funding types are essential for healthcare and community well-being, targeting different areas and stakeholders.
