Eight-year-old Anderson Yinger is bringing some extra holiday cheer to the UPMC Children’s Hospital in Harrisburg and he does it by drawing pictures. Anderson Yinger came up with the idea last year to sell his drawings after watching his dad sell some household items on eBay. “And I went to my mom and I started talking about ‘I want to sell this on eBay and I want to get money to buy toys,’” said Yinger. But, instead of buying toys for himself, he came up with a new plan.

Mission Effectiveness leadership, and Healthy Harrisburg program sponsors came together to witness a Healthy Harrisburg Xtreme Hip Hop class in action. Taught by instructor Robin Marshall, this mainstay of the Healthy Harrisburg program offers fitness and fun, at no cost, to many city residents.

Miss Pennsylvania Alysa Bainbridge is a passionate advocate for mental health and recovery. Growing up, both of Alysa’s siblings struggled with mental illness and addiction. Through the creation of several nonprofit organizations, it is Alysa’s mission to spread awareness about the importance of early mental health intervention and stigma-free spaces. "I've always had this desire to serve and give to others," Alysa said. "My purpose in life is now to carry on my brother's legacy, and that's the best feeling in the world. Knowing that you're doing something that makes a tangible difference in other people's lives."
